Have you ever felt like you’ve messed something up so badly—or so many times—that it couldn’t possibly be useful still? Sometimes that’s how we feel about our own lives. The story of David reminds us that no matter how far we fall or how often we fail, God’s grace is greater than our sin, and His desire to restore us is stronger than our tendency to run. But that restoration begins with honest repentance before Him.
