Have you ever said something you immediately wished you could take back? Words have incredible power—to wound or to heal, to divide or to unite. James reminds us that the maturity of our faith is measured not by how much we know, but by how we speak. In a world fueled by outrage and quick replies, followers of Jesus are called to a different way—one that reflects heaven through peace-filled, gentle, and wise speech. Our words can either set fires or sow peace. The choice is ours.
