Have you ever given something away and realized it changed you more than the person you gave it to? Giving isn’t just about generosity—it’s about discipleship. When we give intentionally, consistently, and cheerfully, we’re declaring our trust that everything we have belongs to God and that He will provide all we need.

Have you ever had something you knew you needed to let go of—but you just couldn’t? Maybe it was a possession, a relationship, or even a plan you made for your future. The harder you tried to hold onto it, the more it seemed to hold onto you. That’s the grip of greed. It’s subtle, and it doesn’t just affect people who are rich—it affects all of us when we trust in what we have more than the One who gave it.

Generosity is more than just giving, but giving in a way that impacts a life. God's character is the very essence of generosity. Throughout the scriptures we can see him giving in a way that changes lives. We have the calling and the opportunity to be a people of the same kind of generosity.

Do you ever feel like you want to take a big step forward for God, but you're not sure what that looks like? This week we take a look at the life of Abraham and see how God called him to obedience, even though his plan and next steps weren't clear. We'll explore some critical characteristics of faithfully following God as we consider how God might be leading us as individuals and as a church.

Paul reminds us that calm, kind, and gracious relationships come from remembering who we are, what we were saved from, how we were saved, and why we were saved. When you remember God’s mercy, you begin to mirror it — because grace received must become grace extended.

How do you respond when life feels out of control? Do you panic, lash out, or spiral into worry? Paul wrote Philippians from house arrest, chained to guards and facing an uncertain future—yet his words overflow with joy and peace. Peace is not the absence of problems but the presence of God in the middle of them. When we fix our hearts and minds on Jesus, we can experience peace no matter what circumstances surround us.

What happens when we spend our lives chasing what we think we own, only to realize we’ve missed the One who owns it all? As we wrap up the series, The Generous Life, we'll see that all we have truly belongs to God and until we learn to put Jesus on the throne, we'll never be freed from the prison wanted and keeping more.

The heart of a generous life is not wealth. True generosity comes from trusting in God to provide rather than accumulating things for security. By shifting our trust from possessions to God, we are free to live generously, knowing that He will take care of our needs.

Many times political involvement for Christians can seem to be on a wide spectrum. Some avoid politics all together, while others dig deep into the political scene. Christians should participate in the political structure of their country's government, but it should be done in a way that brings honor to God and love and respect to others.

As awkward as it might be, the topic of politics needs to be addressed within the framework of God's word. How we approach an election season must be viewed through the lens of our faith and how we treat our vote and the people around us must be guided by the Holy Spirit.

The subject of death is a difficult one and often avoided, but what is even more difficult for many people is the subject and reality of hell. This week we look at the reality of hell and more importantly, how we can avoid it and find eternal reward in heaven.
